Kanyakumari is the southernmost tip of mainland India and is the meeting point of the three seas surrounding the cape: the Indian Ocean, the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal. It is a place with breath- taking beauty and serene environment. Taking its name from an Indian Goddess, Kanyakumari is geographically the end of the Indian mainland mirroring down into a beautiful cape.

                If you stand on land’s edge here and let your imagination run wild, you can     actually ‘feel’ you are at the tip of the world, and envision these  three great swirling     bodies of water merging into each other right at your feet.

               The cape of Kanyakumari where three oceans meet started as a pilgrim place   for Hindus. It is packed with hotels and restaurants and souvenir shops.

              The town is also famous for is marvelous view of the sunrise and sunset. Now it is a well-known international pilgrim and tourist place.
